Professional hairdresser, Monica George, has over 25 years of experience as a hairstylist. She started her training at Charlie Miller before moving on to work under the late George Paterson (Paterson SA) as part of his artistic team.
After that, she worked at a top agency in Cape Town and was involved in countless shows, including editorial, commercial, and America's Next Top Model.
She works as half of the Madeup Team and runs an appointment-only salon ‘Beehive’, located in Out of the Blue Studios in Leith, Edinburgh. She specialises in curly cuts, highlights, and cuts and only uses Curly Girl-approved, chemical-free products.
