We were lucky enough to be part of Ele and Lewis’s beautiful coastal wedding at Harvest Moon in Dunbar, captured perfectly by Black Fern Media. The day unfolded with elegant calm, heartfelt laughter, and those breathtaking East Lothian views that make Scottish coastal weddings so unforgettable.
Morning Prep at Harvest Moon
The day began in one of Harvest Moon’s luxury lodges, where Ele and her bridesmaids got ready surrounded by light, laughter, and a few happy tears. We created a relaxed, timeless look for Ele — soft, natural makeup paired with loose, romantic hair to complement the coastal setting and her stunning dress by The Own Studio.
Nearby, Lewis and his groomsmen got ready in the beach lodges — a short walk but a world away from the calm, glowing energy of the bridal prep.
A Ceremony with a View
The couple tied the knot at St Mary’s Church in Whitekirk, with sweeping views over the Dunbar coastline. After years in London, returning to Scotland to marry among family and friends made the day feel deeply personal and rooted.
A Harvest Moon Celebration
Their reception back at Harvest Moon was everything they’d hoped for — a relaxed and intimate celebration surrounded by white sand, woodland, and sea air. With food by Fig Food, florals by Lottie Longman, and music from Jacuzzi General, the evening carried on long after the sun went down.
